Post your message in support of ourAlberta Heroes

We want to thank and celebrate the community heroes all over Alberta who are putting themselves out there for the greater good of all of us.

1. Post a message of gratitude and support to the doctors, nurses, truck drivers, community leaders, grocery clerks, neighbours, hospital patients, first responders, grandparents and family in our community.

2. Share this good news page on social media with those who are fighting against this virus or those who need a smile the most.

Thank you to all of the Grocery pick-up staff all over! When we 'click and collect' we are always greeted with organized happy staff that make our life safer and easier. Thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you to all the workers in grocery stores, banks and of course the doctors, nurses and anyone else working in the hospitals during this craziness. You truly are amazing people. All those parents who are now home schooling their child just remember it will end. Together we will get through this

Thank to everyone working the frontlines of essential businesses. Thank you to the strangers that say hello on walks or smile from a distance in a grocery store. We are still connected, we will get through this!

Heroes aren't always young with bulging muscles. Sometimes they are old with bulging stomaches, and big hearts. GRANDPARENTS who send emails to their grandchildren. Who send cards, craft kits and silly jokes that bring groans, but also SMILES. Calming the parents too with level headedness and hope.

Thankful to the businesses in Airdrie that continue to do their best to be there for all of us. It's stressful times for business people and new realities everyday. Whether it's groceries or curbside pick up, people have been great! THANK YOU!

I have inadequate words to thank our heroes. But I am proud to belong to this community of loving Albertans who step out to help one another. The real heroes are those who have no choice and also the ones who do and are making the choice to make a positive difference. Bless you all!

Thank you to everyone trying to keep our world going... I’m feeling a bit helpless even though I’m in our EOC and working long hours to help coordinate equipment and supplies for our frontline healthcare workers! Proud to be an AHS employee and able to do my part.

Thank you to everyone who has given support to healthcare workers 💕 so many have tried to send us food but I encourage you to donate to foodbanks and shelters instead. While we are forever grateful there are many who need it more ! Peace and love and wash your hands 🙏

My wife and best pal as well as my son and my brother in law all work along side amazing people in the Red Deer regional hospital. With many others they are prepping for, in all probability, a horrific few weeks ahead. Rise up and share your positive vibes!!! Xmas lights on! Show your support.

My heartfelt gratitude to every staff member working in Long term care centers and providing continuous care to seniors while they are in lock down. As well, sending my love to all seniors living in those centers and to their families that can not visit their loved ones during this time.

Thank you. Not every hero wears a cape, some move supplies up & down the highway, others are here for support, some are in the thick of it all. i want to pass on my thanks to everyone as we are all affected in these times. #thankyou
